iA Financial Group is looking for a Pharmacy Strategy Leader – Drug management for our Montreal or Toronto's office.

As a Pharmacy Strategy Leader you will be the subject matter expert in all areas related to drug management. The main objective of this role is to support the group insurance division in designing drug benefit coverage that will bring the most value to plan sponsors and members.

You will have a major role in the Drug Evaluation Process of the Group Insurance division. You will be responsible of monitoring the pharmaceutical industry, evaluate the new drugs coming to the market and define criteria for reimbursement. You will work in partnership with our PBM, Express Script Canada, and have thorough understanding of their offering to ensure iA and plan sponsors benefit from it. You may also initiate and maintain strategic relationships with pharmaceutical industry partners.

As a Pharmacy Strategy Leader you will also support the «high claimant» management process, and will advise on support and research program available shall the required drugs be not covered. You will also support and audit the process for drugs that require pre-authorization.

You will have a key role in finalist presentations and client meetings and will also provide training to the different teams based upon their needs and responsibilities. You will participate in industry committees and will support the drug product development team.

The position is in Toronto or Montreal and will report to the Director, Product Development.

Qualifications
• Bachelor in pharmacy with 10 years experience
• Expertise outside of the province of Quebec is key
• Good knowledge of drug provincial support and research programs
• Understanding of drug market access in Canada
• High client service skills
• Team work
• Strong analysis skills
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Bilingual (English and French) is essential
