The Opportunity


This position is field-based in British Columbia. As a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, Abbott’s CRM Business focuses on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats.

Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, the CRM Procedure Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting healthcare professionals with the implementation and ongoing usage of Abbott's Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) devices. This position involves hands-on technical assistance during device implantation and follow-up phases, ensuring optimal use of our technologies in clinical settings.

What You’ll Do


• Provide clinical support during the implantation and follow-up of cardiac devices;
• Offer immediate troubleshooting assistance to healthcare professionals using Abbott products;
• Educate and train healthcare professionals on Abbott CRM products, enhancing their understanding and skills;
• Collaborate closely with the Sales Team, including Territory and Regional Managers, to develop and implement business strategies that drive growth and improve customer satisfaction;
• Serve as a vital link between customers and Abbott, delivering technical guidance and support to meet the unique needs of each healthcare facility;
• Maintain a strong presence in the assigned territory to respond promptly to customer needs.

Required Qualifications


• Minimum 1 to 3 years of sales and/or healthcare experience;
• College diploma (normal length of two years);

• Valid driver’s license and able to drive approximately 80% of the time within assigned territory;
• Expected travel outside of territory 20%;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to influence, approachable, ability to build credibility with customers as a knowledgeable resource;
• Excellent problem solving and organizational skills;
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment is key;
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills;
• Must be able to perform intermediate level arithmetic calculations, including ratios, rates and percentages.
