Clinical Informatics transforms health care by designing, implementing, and evaluating information and communication systems to improve patient care, enhance access to care, advance individual and population health outcomes, and strengthen the clinician-patient relationship.
The Clinical Informatics Specialist (CIS), Pharmacist reports to the Coordinator and provides clinical expertise and technical support on the design, optimization and integration of clinical workflow applications related to BC Cancer Pharmacy clinical information systems. The role participates in implementation and systems upgrades by assessing workflows, processes, and end-user learning needs and supports the implementation of new or changed pharmacy procedures, practices, workflows and systems.
The role consults, confers and collaborates with the Provincial Pharmacy Informatics Team, clinical project teams, local pharmacy leadership teams and staff regarding workflow, training needs and/or other requirements and gathers information for ongoing quality improvement and review.

Salary Range: $57.45 to $71.77 per hour.
Location: 2410 Lee Ave, Victoria, BC V8R 6V5
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday; 0800-1600, 0830-1630, 0900-1700, 0930-1730, 1000-1800, 1030-1830
