Job Summary

Responsible for providing support to the following Quality Control Groups; Raw Materials, In-Process, Demonstration/Launch, Finished Product, Validation, Stability and Central Laboratory Support as required.

Job Responsibilities

  • Under supervision, performs analysis of all laboratory samples including raw material, in-process, finished products (including Demonstration and Launch) and stability samples using analytical instruments and established analytical procedures and techniques.
  • Documents and compiles all observations and data obtained from testing as per established SOPs and good documentation practices.
  • Performs calibration of laboratory equipment as required by the department's established calibration program and GMP requirements.
  • Works as a member of a team to meet departmental goals.
  • Performs all work in accordance with all established regulatory and compliance and safety requirements.
  • Disposes of waste solvents and orders any chemicals or laboratory supplies as required.

  • Ensure personal adherence with all compliance programs including the Global Business Ethics and Compliance Program, Global Quality policies and procedures, Safety and Environment policies, and HR policies.

Job Requirements

  • Post-Secondary education in a recognized education institution in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Knowledge of GMP/GLP.
  • Problem solving ability.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office Programs
