Partnar Animal Health, a Health Canada approved manufacture of veterinary drugs based in London, Ontario is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Analytical Chemist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will lead a team of analytical chemists in the development and implementation of new analytical methods and procedures.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry or a related field, with a proven track record of excellence in analytical chemistry research.Graduate degree would be an asset. In addition, the candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in a laboratory setting and have undertaken method development studies and suitability testing.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of analytical chemists in the development and implementation of new analytical methods and procedures.
• Oversee the analysis of chemical samples and provide technical guidance to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain and operate state-of-the-art analytical instruments, and ensure the safety and proper functioning of laboratory equipment.
• Conduct research to improve analytical methods and procedures, and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in analytical chemistry.
• Prepare reports and presentations on analytical results and provide technical support to other departments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry or related field; graduate degree would be an asset
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a laboratory setting
• Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry principles and techniques
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Experience with a variety of analytical instruments, including GC-MS, HPLC,IR, KF, Dissolution, Melting Point, Density Meter, Moisture Analyzer, Automatic Titrator and pH Meter.
• Proficient in statistical analysis software such as JMP, R, or Python
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
