We are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager – English Canada who will be responsible to lead, to motivate, to manage and to assure the follow-up of a representative sales team in order to develop the business in the assigned regions, according to the commercial strategy elaborated by the Commercial Direction and maximising the subsidiary profitability.

Develop the Pharmaceutical representation activity of his/her region

  • Responsible for the achievement of objectives of his/her team, assigned in advance each fiscal year, by the National Sales Director.
  • Follow up on specific clients and with the key account of his/her region.
  • Assure the clients follow-up in case of vacant sector.
  • Responsible to establish and assign sales objectives and the related stocks.

Prepare the support of his/her team

  • Analyse and synthesize periodically the detailed results of every Pharmaceutical Representative.
  • Establish the order of priorities for the sales force.
  • Develop, track and optimize the Sales Rep tools.
  • Evaluate the performance of the sales Rep team.

Supervise the activity of his team

  • Make sure of the activity of his/her sales team according to the objectives and to defined targeting (collaborate in synergy with other functions: Trainers and Medical Rep.).
  • Verify and approve expense reports, vacation requests and miscellaneous product/merchandising orders.
  • Monitor the respect of the progress reports transmission procedure.
  • Estimate monthly results and comments.
  • Evaluate individual performance.
  • Ensure the diligence of his/her sales team.

Motivate and develop his/her team

  • Participate in the Pharmaceutical Rep staffing: recruitment, integration and training.
  • Constantly provides feed-back and evaluation of their work and is responsible to provide a formal annual appraisal for each representative.

Inform the Management about the activity of his/her regions:

  • Establish a weekly activity report (atmosphere, competition, PLV report).
  • Analyse the results of the region and propose the adapted action plans.
  • Proceed with recommendations for action or modification as much as it is needed.
  • Transmit relevant information to the Pharmaceutical Sales Reps, the commercial team and the marketing
  • Work closely with the National Sales Director and with related departments: Training, Logistics and Medical team.


  • Prepare and lead the training during several meetings: regional and national meeting or seminars, and make sure of the level of knowledge of his/her team.
  • Organize and participate in public relations events.
  • Be the key person between field and administrative interfaces.



  • University degree, ideally in sales/commercial


  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years in a similar position combined with experience in management of a field team
  • Experience in cosmetic/dermo-cosmetic products representation (an asset)
  • Proven experience in management of field sales teams
