Do you enjoy the challenge of meeting deadlines while working in a team environment? Teva Cananda is looking for a shipping professional on the Afternoon shift (3:00pm-13:30pm) to play an integral role of getting the products to our valued customers on time. As a shipper, you’ll have the opportunity to work as a part of a growing team and strengthen your valuable skills, which include communication and attention to detail. You’ll be responsible for picking and staging the orders of our dedicated customers, which consist of finished goods. By ensuring accuracy of quantities and lot details, you’ll manage the Oracle system where all related transactions take place. You’ll be tasked with packing customer orders in preparation for their shipment via transporting carriers, which includes completing all related records and transactions, as well as replenishing the products, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
High School Diploma
A minimum of six months experience in a warehouse, distribution environment.
Ability to meet pressing deadlines with attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Superior organizational and documentation skills
Working knowledge of GMPs, SOPs, Oracle, Health & Safety procedures, including, OH&S Act or WHMIS
This position requires the ability to perform heavy lifting 20 kg
Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Applications and Lotus Notes
