Reporting to the Vice-President, Operations, the Logistics Coordinator supports the Central Laboratory team by supervising the sample collection kits assembly and shipping operations according to established deadlines. More specifically, the Logistics Coordinator has to:

  • Coordinate the team responsible for assembling and shipping sample collection kits.
  • Plan and prioritize production schedules and sample collection kits shipments according to clinical studies timelines and clinical site supply requests.
  • Actively participate in the sample collection kits assembly and the preparation of shipments;
  • Prepare the necessary shipment documentation according to current laws and regulations;
  • Participate in the preparation of the shipments to research sites using different couriers;
  • Ensure the appropriate day-to-day order management of supplies in order to maintain adequate inventory levels;
  • Follow-up and complete the documentation related to delayed shipments in collaboration with key people within the company.


  • College degree in a relevant field;
  • "Dangerous goods" training or IATA certification is an asset;
  • Work experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or in a Contractual Research Organization is an asset;
  • Intermediary knowledge and strong abilities in using Microsoft Office Suite software, specifically Outlook and Excel;
  • Proficiency in French and English (oral and written);
  • Ability to balance priorities and to work on multiple tasks at a time;
  • Mindful of the required quality of the work and attention to detail;
  • Dynamism, interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team;
  • Initiative, creativity, and flexibility;
  • Maturity, work ethic, and professionalism.
