Sales Representative – Core Products Quebec

The incumbent will report to the National Sales Manager and will be responsible for creating and  maintaining  client  relationships  and  successfully  selling respiratory medical device products  into  the  pre  hospital  market  and  specialty  medical  devices  in  the  Operating Room  environment.  He/she  will  also  contribute  in  developing  a  strategy  to  increase  the awareness and use of the company brand in the market.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Maintain client relationships as well as business networks;
  • Develop and establish a new client base;
  • Organize and conduct one-on-one meetings with clients to introduce, present and position Minogue Medical's Core Products portfolio;
  • Give presentations;
  • Demonstrate the short term and long-term benefits of these products as well as their safety and efficiency;
  • Focus on achieving the sales targets, create raising awareness of these products;
  • Keep up to date with the developments within the sector through research, training or attending relevant conferences;
  • Update records of client details and creating new lead databases for future use;
  • Maintain detailed records;
  • Negotiate contracts;
  • Attend trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings;
  • Attend company meetings, technical data presentations and briefings;
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest data supplied by the company, present and discuss this data with health professionals;
  • Monitor competitor activity and competitors' products;
  • Seek opportunities to meet contacts in the medical and healthcare sector;
  • Available to travel to different locations throughout the province of Ontario and Quebec.

REQUIRED SKILLS 

  • Bachelor's in business/commerce, Science degree or equivalent;
  • Strong sales aptitude;
  • Perseverant, proactive and a strong sense of initiative;
  • Entrepreneurial drive;
  • Adaptable and able to capitalize on business development opportunities;
  • Determination to succeed;
  • Solution oriented;
  • Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks;
  • Professional demeanor is a must;
  • Bilingual, proficient in both English and French;
  • Business related computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Available to travel.
  • Medical background/experience either Nursing/EMS/respiratory therapy experience, OR experienced sales rep in medical with 2 or 3 years' experience;
  • Strong sales aptitude;
  • Perseverant, proactive and a strong sense of initiative;
  • Entrepreneurial drive;
  • Adaptable and able to capitalize on business development opportunities;
  • Determination to succeed;
  • Solution oriented;
  • Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks;
  • Professional demeanor is a must;
  • Bilingual, proficient in both English and French;
  • Business related computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
