A pharmaceutical company dedicated to the manufacturing, distribution and marketing of animal health products, we are looking for a Process Engineer for our industrial site based in Princeville.
Your main mission will be to ensure the smooth running of production processes in terms of reliability, capacity and repeatability and provide analytical and practical tasks assessments. You will need to apply recognized engineering standards and practices to document, control and improve the equipment used to manufacture Vetoquinol products. You will contribute to achieving the objectives of continuous improvement of operational performance.
Main activities :
Processes and Methods
Support the creation and execution of engineering tests
Leads the development of analytical processes through design and execution experiments
Contributes to the design of experiments, test methods, protocols, specifications and validation documents (QI, QO and QP)
Applies the appropriate methods and tools to all situations and ensures their proper use. Extends standardized use of these tools and methods to overall production
Performs validation protocols and creates validation reports for equipment, test methods, and processes.
Develops and manages complex projects, develops plans, and manages costs and associated time constraints.
Participates in the evaluation of suppliers as part of the renewal of equipment and processes.
Creates and supports strategies to educate employees and promote performance improvement initiatives
Establishes and updates key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the performance of equipment and processes.
Identifies opportunities to adopt new technologies and drive continuous improvement
Proposes a culture of continuous improvement supported by a communication and local training program reaching the entire target population through personalized content.
Provides coaching, mentoring and technical support when solving problems
Bachelor of Engineering or Engineering Technique with a combination of relevant experience (essential)
1 to 3 years of experience in the food, pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry (asset)
Experience in continuous improvement (asset)
Knowledge of validation processes (QI, QO and QP) (asset)
Good knowledge of Health Canada, FDA requirements, particularly CFR 21 part 11 and European GMP (asset)
Knowledge of technical, regulatory and management aspects related to health and safety and also environmental (asset)
Bilingualism French and English in oral and written (important)
