Héma-Québec's mission is to meet the Quebec public's needs for blood and other high-quality human-derived biological products.


Reporting to the Head of Audits, you are responsible for preparing and executing tasks related to checking the compliance of Héma-Québec's line of regulated products. You are involved in putting procedures in place to meet regulatory requirements.

Specifically, you must:

Conduct internal audits, draft reports and complete follow-ups;
Conduct audits on critical suppliers, draft reports and complete follow-ups;
Accompany representatives of regulatory agencies and suppliers to ensure the coordination of inspection activities with the departments in question;
Support the departments being audited to ensure accuracy and effectiveness;
Participate in the updating of industry procedures, staff training program on internal audits and inspections/audits conducted by regulatory agencies or clients.


  • University degree or college diploma in science or equivalent;
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience as an auditor;
  • Inspection experience with Health Canada;
  • Experience in procedural audits an asset;
  • Fluent in French and English, both oral and written;
  • Very good knowledge of the following Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, Outlook;
  • Any combination of education and experience deemed equivalent and relevant will be considered.

  • Strong knowledge of the regulatory environment;
  • Experience in auditing information systems an asset;
  • Knowledge of quality standards associated with the pharmaceutical industry as well as an auditor certification, important assets.


Monthly travel within Quebec and occasionally outside Canada.
