Role Description This is a full-time role for a pharmacist at our Membertou location, a progressive Mi'kmaq community on Unama'ki - Cape Breton Island. Our mission is to provide accessible, culturally respectful healthcare while supporting the wellness and traditions of the community. The pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing and managing medications, providing expert advice on drug usage, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities include conducting medication reviews, collaborating with healthcare professionals, ensuring accurate prescription processing, and providing exceptional patient service. The role also involves maintaining inventory, staying informed on new drug therapies, and promoting wellness initiatives. Qualifications Proficiency in dispensing medications, prescription processing, and inventory management Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical guidelines and regulatory compliance Excellent communication, counseling, and customer service skills Ability to collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities Pharmacist licensure in good standing with the Nova Scotia Pharmacy Regulator Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.), or Bachelor of Pharmacy Valid injection permit Experience in a community pharmacy setting is a plus

Candidates should have skills in dispensing, prescription processing, inventory management, regulatory compliance, communication, counseling, and collaboration; community pharmacy experience is a plus.
