Description: Description: The Pharmacist I is responsible for the provision of safe, effective, and efficient preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical services. The Pharmacist I manages medication therapy and intervenes as required to optimize patient outcomes. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement. Classification: Pharmacist I Union: COV HSAA PROF TECH Unit and Program: Pharmacy SMHC Primary Location: St. Mary's Hospital Location Details: As Per Location Multi-Site: Not Applicable FTE: 1.00 Posting End Date: 19-AUG-2026 Temporary Employee Class: Temp F/T Benefits Date Available: 03-SEP-2026 Temporary End Date: 28-MAY-2027 Hours per Shift: 7.75 Length of Shift in weeks: 2 Shifts per cycle: 10 Shift Pattern: Days, Weekends Days Off: As Per Rotation Minimum Salary: $59.76 Maximum Salary: $68.71 Vehicle Requirement: Not Applicable Required Qualifications: Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Pharmacy program or recognized equivalent required. Active license with the Alberta College of Pharmacists (ACP) required. Additional prescribing authorization as a requirement within 18 months of hire required. Additional Required Qualifications: Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Collaborative experience as part of a multi-disciplinary patient care team. Preferred Qualifications: Previous hospital experience. Completion of an accredited hospital residency/Pharm D program. Member of Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists. Familiarity with Connect Care.

Requirements
