The Pharmacy Technician processes and prepares medication orders, including compounding sterile products and verifying the accuracy of dispensed prescriptions. They also maintain inventory levels, manage wardstock, and perform clerical duties within the pharmacy information system. Candidates must have completed Grade 12 and an accredited Pharmacy Technician program. Current practicing registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia is mandatory.
