Job summary

Job Purpose The Clinical Resource Pharmacist-Oncology is responsible for providing leadership to ensure safe use and effective management of medications for a specific clinical program. Qualifications Must be registered with the New Brunswick College of Pharmacists, licensed to practice in New Brunswick, and have demonstrated leadership ability and related work experience (1 year), and/or completion of a post graduate training program. Experience in oncology practice in a hospital setting preferred Ability to attend work on a regular basis. Ability to perform the duties of the position. Good work record. The Clinical Resource Pharmacist Is Responsible For Providing advanced clinical services Taking a leadership role regarding drug use and clinical practice Leading and participating in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives, projects and research activities Providing mentoring, training and education\ Acting as a preceptor Develop, implement, evaluate and enhance the pharmacy service, education program and research initiatives. Establish and implement standards for staff performance and development. Serving as site coordinator for the region residency program (if applicable).
