The Department of Epidemiology at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and the Molecular Epidemiology Center for Biomedical Research Excellence invites applications for a tenure track faculty position. We seek an Associate Professor with experience in the design and conduct of large-scale prospective molecular epidemiologic investigations. The department further has emerging strength in Implementation Sciences and is also interested in applicants with independent research programs in implementation research using molecular epidemiology. The Department offers a dynamic, interdisciplinary, and highly collaborative setting with a commitment and infrastructure to support rigorous and impactful research and career advancement.
Dartmouth faculty benefit from close collaborative relationships with other departments across the medical school and university, including with the College of Arts & Sciences, Thayer School of Engineering, and Tuck School of Business. In addition, Dartmouth is home to an NCI Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center with four research programs, including Cancer Population Sciences and the Dartmouth Center for Implementation Science. As a part of success in this role there are expectations for teaching and mentoring. Individuals will have opportunities to participate in multiple graduate programs (e.g., the Program in Quantitative Biomedical Sciences, Implementation Science, Integrative Neuroscience, the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice and the Program in Molecular and Cellular Biology).

Qualifications
Candidates must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree and relevant teaching and extramural research experience to meet the qualifications of a tenure track associate professor at Dartmouth. Applicants with a track record of extramural research support are preferred.
