Key Responsibilities Our client is currently seeking a motivated, result-oriented entrepreneurial professional with strong relationship-building and communication skills for the role of Territory Manager (TM) responsible for driving sustainable business growth across the Gastroenterology and Osteoporosis therapeutic areas within the Ontario Central (Toronto & GTA). This role requires a proactive account management, customer-focused professional combined with a strong clinical understanding and advanced selling capabilities. Specific responsibilities and deliverables include: Achieve sales targets through effective account business planning & execution. Deliver clear, impactful product messaging grounded in scientific evidence and aligned to customer needs. Develop strong customer engagement and experience through tailored solutions, while continually identifying and engaging new targets. Plan and execute Continuous Health Education (CHE) programs that address clinical knowledge gaps within GI and osteoporosis. Conduct regular territory, market, and business analysis to evaluate performance and identify new opportunities. Lead and support peer-to-peer initiatives, product education sessions, and local promotional events. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners (Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, Training) in a compliant and solutions-oriented manner. Contribute insights, best practices, and innovative approaches that elevate the company’s presence and bring value to the team. Manage territorial budgets with accountability and efficiency. Represent the company professionally at regional and national conferences. Conduct all responsibilities with integrity, adherence to compliance requirements, and a commitment to high ethical standards. Territory: Ontario Central (Toronto & GTA) Skills & Qualifications The successful candidate is a result-oriented territory manager who has developed a strong work ethic and customer focus. Minimum qualifications: University Degree in Sciences, Health, Nursing or other related education Five years of experience as a Pharmaceutical or Medical Device territory manager. Experience with speciality products. Gastroenterology and/or Osteoporosis and/or Biosimilar more specific experience is a strong asset. Excellent written and verbal communication skills—clear, persuasive, respectful, and customer-centric across different channels such as one on one, groups, conferences in person or virtual. Comfortable with cold calling prospecting and demonstrates strong selling skills & aptitude, in person & virtually. Entrepreneurial mindset with strong initiative, resourcefulness, and ability to work independently Strong organization, time management, and prioritization capabilities. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning, including mastery of disease states, product knowledge, and therapeutic resources. Proficient with Microsoft Office as well as customer reporting and monitoring systems. Must be willing to travel occasionally and possess a valid driver’s licence. Requirements
Candidates must have a university degree in Sciences, Health, or Nursing and at least five years of experience as a pharmaceutical or medical device territory manager. Experience with specialty products, specifically in Gastroenterology, Osteoporosis, or Biosimilars, is strongly preferred.
