Pharmasave #421 is looking for a part-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Regina, Saskatchewan. Patient Focused Care Responsibilities: Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient care Greet customers and answer phone calls in a professional manner Assist with entering, labelling, and packaging prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technician Accurately count, measure, and package medications according to established protocols Receive and stock medication and supply shipments, monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and support inventory audits Keep the pharmacy area clean and organized; safely dispose of expired medications and hazardous waste in accordance with regulations Perform clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfers Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in a retail pharmacy setting, with a foundational understanding of pharmacy operations and business practices. Skilled in using Kroll and highly accurate and efficient in prescription data entry is an asset. Completion of a pharmacy assistant program is an asset. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to thrive in a team environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to stand for long periods and occasional lifting of boxes/containers Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Schedule: 15 hours per week (Part-time) The store operates Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Candidates must be flexible with their availability, as shifts will primarily include evenings and weekends, with some daytime availability also required.
