Reporting to the Chemical Supervisor, the Analyst is responsible for conducting chemical analyses on finished products and raw materials using pharmacopoeia analysis methods developed and validated by the company. It must comply with health and safety requirements and regulations in daily work in order to generate the integrity of the data.

Job Summary
  • Analyzes the chemical components of raw materials, finished products and in-process products from different departments; where data is integrated;
  • Prepare test reports and test certificates;
  • If required, receive training to be qualified to audit laboratory data;
  • Participate in various maintenance activities and other tasks essential to the operation of the laboratory, such as housekeeping activities;
  • Implement actions to reinforce Health and Safety behaviors;
  • Provide adequate training and techniques prior to performing the work;
  • Participate in the investigations.
Minimum requirements
  • College Degree (DEC) in chemistry, biochemistry or other related field;
  • One (1) year or less experience in analytical chemistry;
  • Good knowledge of GLP, USP, HPLC, GC, UV methods;
  • Good knowledge of French and English oral and written;
  • Good time management, good work organization, able to work in a thorough manner following the analytical method in order to avoid human errors.
