Job Description The Lab Technician assists the Research and Development Engineer and the team by working on quality control as well as research and development projects and other tasks when required. What you will be doing: Responsible for quality control testing of plant production at the designated plant including verifying samples, testing products and reporting the results. Ensure all non-conforming results are reported to the R&D Engineer or the Supervisor Responsible for performing laboratory tests for research and development projects for R&D and communicating the test results Report supplies shortage to the R&D Engineer or Supervisor and maintain lab equipment in good conditions. Perform tests for Operations with a goal of improving plant efficiency and reworking non-conforming product. Assist to the weekly meeting with the R&D Engineer and Supervisor Support the sales team by testing non-conforming products and report results to the R&D Engineer or Supervisor. Report technical results from job site data collected by the sales team Other duties as assigned Maintenance of the laboratory Qualifications High school diploma. Relevant concrete laboratory or field work experience considered an asset. ACI technician certification is considered an asset. Ability to communicate (verbal and written) in French and English required Experience using Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and the able to learn new software Attention to detail.
