Our client, a well-established distribution company located in the Eastern Montérégie region, is seeking a Buyer to support procurement operations and inventory management. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring product availability and will work closely with operations, customer service, logistics teams, and suppliers.

What you’ll do

- Determine procurement needs and replenish products according to established parameters. - Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels. - Analyze procurement data and recommend adjustments to improve inventory management. - Track purchase orders and any changes that may impact operations. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient procurement processes. - Communicate with the company dispatcher to coordinate the pickup and delivery of goods while meeting established timelines. - Perform other related duties as required. Requirements

- Education in procurement, inventory management, logistics, or a related field. - Experience in purchasing within distribution companies. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. - Intermediate bilingualism in French and English required to communicate regularly with English-speaking suppliers, representing approximately 40% of daily interactions. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Results-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work under pressure and independently with minimal supervision.
