The Opportunity We are looking for an analytical, detail-oriented individual with a passion for precision, quality, and excellence in sterile compounding. This is an exceptional opportunity for an RPhT who is eager to deepen their technical expertise in a state-of-the-art specialty compounding environment. You will be trained extensively in proper sterile technique, aseptic processes, and NAPRA-aligned best practices—skills rarely attained in a traditional community or retail pharmacy. Position Description As the successful candidate in this role, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Performing sterile (hazardous and non-hazardous) compounding in accordance with NAPRA standards and organizational SOPs Preparing complex compounded medications with accuracy, consistency, and strict adherence to aseptic technique Maintaining a cleanroom environment, including environmental monitoring, room/equipment cleaning, and gowning procedures Completing batch records, documentation, and quality checks with exceptional attention to detail Supporting inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and proper storage of raw materials and supplies Collaborating with pharmacists and technical team members to ensure safe product preparation and timely order fulfillment Participating in ongoing training to advance your sterile compounding proficiency and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements Experience Must have 4+ years of experience working in a pharmacy Knowledge of aseptic technique a strong asset Compounding experience a strong asset Qualifications Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the OCP Strong analytical and critical thinking, excellent written and verbal communication, strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills Education Completion of a CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Program (or equivalent recognized training) is required Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) designation with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) Additional training or coursework in sterile compounding, aseptic technique, or NAPRA-aligned practices is an asset Additional Information Job ID: 10570 Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time | On-Site Industries: Pharmaceutical Job Categories: Healthcare Manages Others: No Required Travel: No Relocation Assistance: No Learn More About the Recruiter Valerie Yuricek specializes in the placement of staff at all levels from entry-level to senior management within Property & Facilities.
