We are seeking a Clinical Trials Contracts Specialist to join our Legal Services – Clinical Trials team. This role is central to executing fast-track clinical trial agreements, helping accelerate study start-up while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. About The Role You will be part of a team of four professionals supporting clinical research, reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel (Research). Your primary focus will be fast-track clinical trials—agreements that rely on pre-approved templates or existing master agreements and meet defined criteria for streamlined execution. You will also support broader clinical trial work as capacity allows. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and process fast-track clinical trial agreements using standard templates and master agreements Coordinate efficient agreement execution with internal stakeholders and external partners Ensure agreements meet Sunnybrook fast-track criteria and quality standards Support Sunnybrook’s strategic initiative through template use, workflow improvements, and cycle time reduction, including liaising with Sunnybrook’s Centre for Clinical Trial Support Engage with industry sponsors and CROs to encourage use of master agreements Assist with non-fast-track clinical trial agreements as workload permits Maintain accurate records and track agreement status and metrics Qualifications Diploma or degree in law, business, health administration or equivalent 2–5 years of relevant experience in clinical research contracting or legal document management Familiarity with clinical trial agreements or legal contracting processes is an asset What You Bring Proactive, solutions-focused approach Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage a high volume of agreements efficiently Process-oriented mindset focused on speed and consistency Excellent communication and coordination skills Comfort working in a structured, template-driven environment Why Join Sunnybrook Contribute directly to accelerating access to innovative clinical trials Be part of a high-impact institutional initiative Work with a collaborative, mission-driven team Develop specialized expertise in clinical trial contracting Apply Interested candidates are encouraged to apply with a resume and cover letter through Sunnybrook’s careers portal.
